Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of BidFaster, a quoting and invoicing app operated by devLNX Studio ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use BidFaster.
1. What BidFaster is
BidFaster helps trade contractors create quotes and invoices, share them with clients, collect an online accept/signature, and keep a job record. We do not process payments from your clients. Clients pay you directly using the bank details you put on the invoice. We never hold, route or take a cut of those payments.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and using BidFaster for a trade or small-business purpose.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter (prices, tax, client details, bank details) and for keeping your password confidential.
- You own your business and client data. We host a copy so you can sync across devices and use the web dashboard.
3. Free plan and Pro subscription
- Free: up to 10 quotes for the life of the account, with client portal, cloud sync, invoices and payment schedules. PDFs carry a small BidFaster footer and cannot include your logo or reusable templates.
- Pro: unlimited quotes, your logo on PDFs, templates, and optional automatic overdue emails to your clients. One flat monthly (or yearly) price; no percentage of your client payments.
Pro is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through Google Play, the Apple App Store, or Stripe (web). Payment is handled entirely by those providers. You can cancel at any time in your store account or Stripe customer portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds follow the store's or Stripe's policy and any mandatory consumer law that applies to you.
4. Client portal and e-signature
When a client accepts a quote they type their name and draw a signature. We record the name, signature image, date and IP address, and stamp the accepted quote. This is intended as a simple electronic signature for routine commercial quotes. It is not a qualified electronic signature under eIDAS and we do not warrant that it will satisfy every legal requirement in every jurisdiction. You decide whether it is appropriate for a given job; for high-stakes contracts, take legal advice.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use BidFaster to send spam, impersonate others, probe the service, or store data you have no right to process. We may suspend an account that is abusive or that creates a security risk.
6. Availability
The mobile app works offline. Sync, the client portal, push notifications and the web dashboard need a working internet connection and our servers. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.
7. Closing your account
You can delete your account in the app (Settings → Delete Account, password required) or on the web dashboard. Deletion removes your data from our servers. Local copies on a device are removed by uninstalling the app.
8. Liability
BidFaster is provided as a tool. We are not a party to any contract between you and your client, and we are not your accountant or lawyer. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost jobs, or tax/invoicing mistakes arising from data you entered or from using the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).
9. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app or by email. Continued use after the update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
